ABOUT NACRESQUE
Nacresque is a trade-only sourcing and export company connecting international buyers with selected workshops in Syria for handcrafted Damascene presentation products and related gifting pieces.
WHAT WE DO
The production workshops focus on making the pieces. Nacresque focuses on making the international order work: understanding the buyer brief, coordinating specifications, managing the commercial conversation, arranging quality checks and coordinating export and freight.
That separation is deliberate. We do not present a partner workshop as a Nacresque-owned factory, and we do not ask an overseas procurement team to manage a local workshop directly.
OUR ROLE
Identify workshops and configurations that fit the requested product, quantity and quality requirements.
Translate the project brief into measurable product requirements, an approval reference and commercial terms.
Coordinate sample approval, production checks and final inspection evidence against the agreed specification.
Coordinate export documentation and freight arrangements for the agreed shipment and destination.
WHY THIS MODEL
Small workshops can produce exceptional pieces without having the systems overseas procurement teams expect: formal specifications, sample approval, documented quality control, commercial paperwork and coordinated freight.
Nacresque builds that layer around the craft so a buyer can evaluate a real product and a defined production process without having to build the local supply chain themselves.
FOUNDER'S NOTE
I'm Weam, and I built Nacresque around a simple problem: sourcing Syrian products from abroad can be extremely difficult. International buyers may find the craftsmanship, but getting from a workshop to a dependable export order involves a long chain of sourcing, paperwork, quality control, packaging, freight and coordination.
Nacresque is designed to handle that chain. I manage the buyer-facing work around the product—from sourcing and specifications to export paperwork, QC, packaging coordination and shipping—so the buyer can deal with one accountable commercial partner rather than piecing the process together themselves.
The goal is to give international markets practical access to Syrian products that would otherwise be difficult to source reliably, while giving the workshops a route to overseas buyers without asking them to build the entire export operation themselves.
That also means taking responsibility for the coordination and execution of the order, keeping the buyer's process clear, and making the commercial side predictable from sample through shipment.
A LOOK AT THE WORKSHOP
This is one of the working spaces behind the products. It is simply a production environment, with finished pieces and stock moving through the workshop as orders are made and prepared.
The useful part for us is the product itself: the range of configurations, the amount of finished work on hand, and the ability to source the same styles for larger programs when the requirements fit.
We also keep selected finished pieces in inventory for shorter-lead-time projects. When the right model and quantity are already available, an inventory allocation can be used for an urgent or rushing project rather than waiting for an entirely new production cycle. Availability is confirmed when you inquire.
Nacresque handles the commercial and export side of the order; the workshop shown here is a production partner.
